I sold my first article!!

I'm very proud to say that I sold my first article ever!! I've been writing since I can remember and saw a link to Constant Content on a survey website that I'm a member of. I was interested in selling some of my work so I decided to give it a try. I wrote a few articles and submitted them. The people in charge of the site will either accept it and list it or reject it and tell you to edit it. (There are certain things that they are extremely picky with, such as grammar, spelling, punctuation, not talking in the first person, etc.) If you have even one mistake they'll send it back to you, tell you what to fix, and then you have to edit it and resend it. Luckily the article I sold didn't have any errors so they listed it right away. Constant Content gives you 65% of the sale price and they take the rest, so you have to price your articles accordingly.

As you can see in the screen shot above, my article sold for $40. Not bad for an hour of work. ;) Now it's going to be published and I am very proud and excited to see what else this will bring. I'm currently working on a few other articles, and I just submitted another one last night. I'm crossing my fingers!! I'll keep everyone updated on what happens with that. :)

xo, Sarah

PS- The South Carolina trip video is edited and done, but I'm having a hard time posting it. I had to reformat it and I finally did that but now I'm getting error messages when I try to post it. Keep an eye out for that, I'll figure it out somehow and it'll be up eventually!! <3
