Neutrogena Deep Clean Purifying Micellar Cleansing Towelettes Review

Hey my loves,

I know, I know. It’s been a while. We had a busy summer and did a lot of fun stuff with the kids over the summer, so I didn’t get a chance to blog as much as I would have liked. They’re back in school now though so I’ll have a little more time to work on some new content. I’m really bad about starting a post and then saving it halfway through and not finishing it. I’ll get another idea and start a separate post a few days later and do the exact same thing. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’ll get better about finishing my posts, I promise. 😂

If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you would know that my holy grail makeup remover wipes are the Neutrogena sensitive skin makeup removing wipes. I’ve been using them for years. Recently Neutrogena came out with Deep Clean Purifiying Cleansing wipes though, and I decided to give them a try.

I’m glad I did.

I have sensitive, acne prone, combination skin. My skin will absolutely let me know if it doesn’t like a product I use, so I wait to give my opinion on products until I’ve used them at least a couple times and can see how my skin reacts to it. I was so happy that my skin didn’t react negatively to these. A lot of products that claim to remove waterproof makeup don’t work as well as they claim, but these wipes really do. They easily take off my waterproof eyeliner and mascara. They even take off my false lash glue easily, which most other makeup wipes can’t do. They have a slight scent but it smells fresh and isn’t overpowering. My skin is left feeling soft and moisturized after using these. They never dry my skin out or irritate it (which is easy to do). I also really like that they have a rough texture because it helps take the makeup off more easily. It isn’t rough enough to irritate your skin, but it definitely helps in removing your makeup more quickly and easily. The packaging keeps the wipes nice and moist.

I’m super impressed with these makeup wipes and have definitely found my new Holy Grail product. I would like to try the other Neutrogena Micellar products soon and see if they’re as good as the makeup removing wipes.

Have you ever tried these makeup remover wipes? If so, what did you think of them? What other makeup removing products do you recommend? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. I've never tried these before, but I'm always looking for good makeup removing wipes! I usually go for the Cucumber ones - SoCucumber, I think they're called? Thanks for sharing! Happy weekend!

    1. I’ve tried those! I like them as well, especially the yummy cucumber scent but the Neutrogena wipes take my eye makeup off so much easier so I’ve been gravitating toward them lately. Thanks so much for visiting and leaving a comment! 💕

  4. I am obsessed with Neutrogena makeup remover wipes! They are the only thing that work for me! I've tried other wipes and they either make my face feel like it's burning or dry out my skin.

    1. I agree! I don’t waste my time with any other wipes now. These literally melt the makeup off so easily, even when you’re wearing heavy eye makeup, glitter looks, etc. Thanks so much for stopping by! 💕
