Razzle Dazzle Me Jewelry Review

Hello Lovelies,

I am excited to review a jewelry company called Razzle Dazzle Me. The owner, Roslyn LaDuke, was sweet enough to let me choose three pieces from her Etsy store for me to . I chose an ear cuff, a ring, and a midi ring. After I chose my items, she quickly shipped them. The jewelry was shipped from Tennessee to Chicago (where I'm from) and I was very impressed with how quickly my package arrived.

Upon opening the envelope, I was pleasantly surprised at the adorable packaging. Everything was very organized and protected well so that nothing broke during shipping process. If you want to know what I thought of the jewelry, keep reading. :)

Each item came individually wrapped very carefully.

Unique feather ear cuff.
Closer view of the feather ear cuff.
The feather ear cuff is my favorite of all the things I was sent. I did a haul a while back where I showed you all a bow ear cuff that I had purchased. When I bought that, I fell in love with ear cuffs. They are so unique and I always get compliments when I wear them. This particular ear cuff from Razzle Dazzle Me is very well made. It's made out of silver and it's definitely a high quality piece. It's very comfortable to wear as well. I had it on all day today and it didn't bother me at all. It's a beautiful set and you can't beat the price. You can purchase the same set from Roslyn's Etsy store (Razzle Dazzle Me) for $10.00.

Adjustable Sterling Silver Midi Ring

The next item I want to show you is the sterling silver adjustable midi ring. It looks so cute and it fits right above your knuckle. It's a small piece but it adds a little something extra to your look. This is another well made, sturdy piece. This ring is only $11 at Razzle Dazzle Me.

Black and Silver Rosette Ring

I like this ring as well. The craftmanship on this ring is amazing. You can tell that the shop owner puts a lot of time and effort into making her merchandise. The detail in this ring surprised me, you can see the shape of the rose petals, etc. and it makes the ring even more beautiful. There are no sharp edges and it's very comfortable to wear. I wore it all day yesterday and had no problems. I actually almost went to bed with it on because I forgot I had it on. Most rings will start to annoy me after wearing them for a few hours but this ring is so lightweight and comfortable that I forgot I had it on! You can purchase the same ring from Razzle Dazzle Me on Etsy for $9.

Overall I was very pleased with all of the pieces Roslyn sent me. They were all beautiful, unique, and high quality. Her Etsy website has something for everyone. There are feathered ear cuffs in all different colors, beautiful midi rings, misc ear cuffs in all colors/shapes/sizes, beautiful necklaces, and so much more. I will be purchasing from her store soon because I am so in love with the items that she sent me. Roslyn was also kind enough to give me a coupon code for my readers to get 10% off! You have to use the code YES10 at checkout to receive 10% off of your purchase price. Make sure to check out Razzle Dazzle Me asap. You won't be disappointed.

Much Needed Makeup Haul. . .

Hi dolls,

For the majority of the time in the past few months, I've only purchased one or two nakeup products at a time. I have an arsenal of makeup and beauty products that could probably last me for a year or two just with the things I have. Although I have a ton of makeup already, I was running low on my favorite products, I needed a different foundation color, and there were some new products that I was dying to try. This resulted in a little shopping trip. Here are the things I bought:

Sonia Kashuk Foundation Brush 114- $10.99 @ Target

I had heard great reviews on this foundation brush. My old Bare Minerals foundation brush was definitely on it's last leg. From my experience,  I've fallen in love with almost every Sonia Kashuk makeup product that I've ever purchased. This was no different.

Ecotools Retractable Kabuki Brush- $7.99 @ Target

This brush is incredibly soft but also holds a decent amount of product. I needed a new kabuki that I could throw in my makeup bag and I was pleasantly surprised to find one that was retractable. I've never used any Ecotools products before but I really like this brush so far.

Neutrogena Shine Control Makeup (Foundation)- $11.97 @ Walmart

I have combination skin but lately it's been pretty oily. With the Mary Kay foundation I was using almost daily before this, I would constantly have to reapply translucent powder over it and I got tired of doing that. I swatched the Neutrogena foundation on my hand and noticed how truly matte it was. I was very impressed and hooked immediately.

NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder in Brunette- $5.99 @ Target

I actually have the same NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder in one shade darker from when I dyed my hair dark last year. Now that my hair is a bit lighter with an ombre effect, I needed a lighter eyebrow powder. This is my holy grail eyebrow product. :)

Revlon Diamond Lust Eye Shadow in Plum Galaxy- $4.49 @ Target

After getting the things I needed, I browsed the aisles for quite a while looking at things I wanted. All of the Revlon Diamond Lust shadows caught my eye immediately.  (How could they not?! Women love sparkly things!) I decided to try out this gorgeous deep plum shade because I have a beautiful baby pink color that would go perfectly with it.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Cupcake (055)- $6.48 @ Walmart

I've tried Revlon Lip Butter before in different shades and fell in love with not only the gorgeous pigment but the creamy consistency as well. These Lip Butters make my lips feel smooth as silk and I love it. (So does my fiance. Hey girl heyyyy. ;) ) This particular shade is a baby pink color mixed with a light fuschia color. It looks grrat against my skin tone and I've been using it almost everyday since I bought it.

That concludes my drug store makeuo haul. Overall I'm very happy with the products I've purchased. Have you ever used any of these products? Are there any you are dying to try? What do you want to see more of on my blog?? Let me know in the comments below. As always, thanks for reading and I'll talk to all of my beautiful readers soon!! ♡♥

Loreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer Review

Helloooo my beautiful babies,

I haven't done a review in quite a while so I thought I'd do one on a new product I picked up the other day. I was at Walmart and saw the Loreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer. I had tested it out before and loved it but wasn't sure that it was worth the $10+ price tag. Well, I caved and bought it a few days ago. Here are my thoughts on it:

Loreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer- Walmart $10.97

Packaging: The first thing I noticed was the packaging. I'm a sucker for pretty packaging. I definitely prefer beauty products that come in a bottle with a pump because it's a lot more sanitary. At first I thought the bottle was a bit small for being over $10, but once I tested it out, I realized you really don't need to use much at all. A little goes a long way with this product.

Price: Like I mentioned above, I thought it was a bit pricey for such a small bottle, but once I used it I changed my mind. It's definitely worth the $10 I spent on it.

Product: The product itself is great. I usually use higher end primers, (as my loyal subbies know, I love my Tarte primer) but I had heard such great things about this primer, so I had to try it for myself. The consistency is comparable to a light body lotion. It's thick enough that it moisturizes well and is thin enough that you don't feel like you're spreading cement on your face. The Magic Lumi primer does give off a brightening effect (thanks to the luminizer), and made my skin look so much less dull and more vibrant after the first use. I was very surprised. I have combination skin and was a bit worried that it would make my trouble spots more oily, but it didn't. It just evened everything out and made my skin look very healthy and refreshed. I'll definitely be using this in my everyday routine, because I really love how it makes my skin look. Unlike some primers, it doesn't have that horrible chemical smell. I actually don't smell anything when I smell this primer. Here is what the actual product looks like:

I realize that the picture above could look SO wrong, but I wanted to show you the consistency. Pictured above is 1 pump of the Loreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer.

Normally I just use this all over my face to prep and prime, but I've also used it as a highlight. I put a little on the top of my cheekbones, bridge of my nose, cupid's bow, under my eyes, and right under my brow bone. It's really a 2-in-1 product.

Comments: After using this product for a few days, I'm still just as impressed if not more impressed with it. It has made my skin noticeably smoother and brighter. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a brightening boost && as I mentioned, it works well with any skin type.

Have you ever tried Loreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer (or any of the other Loreal Magic Lumi products)?? Let me know what you think in the comments below!!

My Style Icons . . .

Hello, Gorgeous. ;)

I'm making an effort to blog more often. I've been getting emails and people contacting me on my personal Facebook page asking where I've been. I don't want to worry you guys. If you're curious what I've been up to, read my post titled "Get In My Business".

Anyway, I wanted to do a quick, fun blog about my personal style icons. To me, a style icon is someone that has a unique personal style. They are a trendsetter, a leader, and fashionable. A style icon is creative, fashionable, and bold. I have quite a few people that my personal look is inspired by. I love looking at celebrity photos and even at everyday people and drawing inspiration from their looks for my own.

Here are some of the celebs that I have a "style crush" on:

Sammi Sweetheart

Sammi Sweetheart is very fashionable in my eyes. Her confidence is one of the sexiest things about her and she wears it with every outfit she puts on. Sammi's style and my style are actually very similar. I love wearing big jewelry, clothing that flatters my body, and like Sammi, I like to add a hint of sexiness to each outfit I wear without going overboard.

Kim Kardashian

Whether Kim is dressed up or dressed in something more casual, she always looks amazing. Her personal style is absolutely fabulous because she isn't afraid to take risks. She knows what clothing flatters her body type and she plays up her favorite body parts with the clothing that she wears. She pays attention to detail and would rather be slightly overdressed than under dressed. Honestly, all of the Kardashians have amazing personal style. Before Keeping Up with the Kardashians came along, she was a personal stylist. She is probably my #1 style icon.

Selena Gomez

Even though Selena is young, I still consider her a style icon. Her personal style has definitely evolved in the past year or so and has become much more mature and fashion-forward. Even her casual, everyday style is something to admire. She always looks put together even when she's just wearing jeans and a t-shirt.

Jessica Alba

Two words I would use to describe Jessica Alba's personal style would be edgy yet glam. She reminds me of the highly fashionable girl-next-door. I really like her street style. Her everyday style mostly consists of jeans or leggings and cute sweaters or jackets. I love pairing cute jackets with dresses, jeans, and leggings.  A nice fitted leather jacket can really give your look some edge. I also think my style is similar to Jessica's in some ways.

Kristin Cavallari

As far back as her days on "The Hills", Kristin has always had an eye for style. She is definitely fashion forward. Kristin has a very chic personal style but makes it look effortless at the same time. I even think her maternity style was great and that's rare. Overall she is definitely a style icon of mine because her outfits are fresh, fun, and flirty.

Vanessa Minnillo (Lachey)

Vanessa Minnillo (Lachey) is another favorite celeb that I love to pull style inspiration from. Her style is simple and practical but polished and trendy at the same time. I love the way that she layers clothing and accessories. For example a signature fall look for Vanessa is a loose fitting shirt with a big scarf and some arm candy. She never goes overboard with jewelry or accessories. I look to her for inspiration on my day-to-day casual style.

I hope you ladies got a better sense of my personal style through this post. To sum it up, my style is a little bit of everything. I'm not afraid to take risks. Some days my look will be girly and chic, others it will be a little more edgy, and other days it will be glammed up. It all depends on how I feel. I can tell you one thing though-- my style is uniquely mine and it evolves and changes day to day. Keep an eye out for a post specifically about my style and some of my favorite looks from my wardrobe. ;)

How would you describe your personal style? Who are your style icons or people that you would NEVER look to for inspiration? Let me know in the comments below.
