All Things Girly

I am so glad that I was born a female. I really don't know what I'd do if I was born a guy. Don't get me wrong, I'm really easygoing and have been called "one of the guys" personality-wise, but I absolutely love being a woman. I love fashion. I love clothes. I love makeup, tanning, shoes, big hair, and fake nails. I love getting ready to go out. Getting ready is half the fun!! :) Here are a few things I've been obsessing over lately:

Shopping at the mall is so much more fun because you can physically touch the fabrics, try on the clothing, etc. but I do enjoy shopping online as well. It's exciting when your package finally arrives and I love ripping into it to get to whatever I ordered. I go on my favorite store's websites even when I don't have money to spend and put stuff in my cart so whenever I have a few extra dollars I can order what I like right away and it's all right there for me. I ordered these from Forever 21 today:

(In case you couldn't tell, I love leopard print!!) I love Forever 21 because it's so affordable and they have a huge selection of amazing clothing. There is something in that store for everyone. Whenever I have a little extra money or want to treat myself to something, this is one of the first places I shop. The last online purchase I made at this store (before today), I bought 10 items for just under $100. That's really good especially with how high prices seem to be EVERYWHERE today!!

I have fun putting outfits together and being creative with my clothes. I love buying things that I haven't seen anyone else wear or altering my clothing to make it unique. Whether it's cutting the neckline to make a regular shirt an off the shoulder shirt, or adding sequins or unique buttons to a piece of clothing, it makes me feel good to know that no one will be wearing the exact same thing as me. If you know me, you know that I usually have my outfits picked out at least 3 days in advance.

I purchased the bag below a couple months ago and when I saw it I instantly fell in love because it is so unique and fits my style to a T. I have never gotten more compliments on an accessory in my life!!

(I believe it was around $120 before tax from Bebe.)

 
The only difference between my purse and the one in the picture is that I got the one with a nude/beige colored straps and lighter colored spots that match.

I love to watch beauty gurus on YouTube and I've heard great things about L'Oreal Magic Smooth Souffle foundation so I decided to pick it up yesterday while I was shopping:

I am absolutely in love with this product. I've never used a foundation that made my face as soft and smooth as this foundation does. It gives great coverage and has an airbrush effect on my skin. This is my new favorite foundation.

I also picked up a Wet N Wild nail polish called "Sparkled" from their Wild Shine collection. In the last few years, the quality of Wet N Wild products has definitely improved. I only needed one coat and my nails were completely covered in glitter. I am a huge fan of this polish. Below is my scent at the moment. It is Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture. This is my favorite perfume. It has a very sweet smelling scent, and it lasts all day. It can be a bit pricey depending where you buy it, but it's well worth it.

Those are some of my favorite "girly" things at the moment. I had fun writing this blog and I will definitely be writing some similar blogs in the near future. :)
